Deanah Kimone Sargeant, or her stage name, Blind Beauty is a singer, songwriter who is seeking to take the industry by storm. Her first project, ‘Heartbreak EP’ came out earlier this year and features the singles “Common” and “No More Love”. You can check them out on Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal and Soundcloud. Her first music video for “Common” is expected to drop soon, with Twin Williams, aka “Trav” directing.
Speaking of Trav, the two recently started a podcast on Soundcloud called “Shady Characters” where they discuss pop culture and other topics peppered with some shade, with new episodes coming out every Sunday.
The two are both frequent callers into the hit Power 105.1 morning show “The Breakfast Club”. That’s actually how they met.
Blind Beauty was coaxed into reaching out and getting Trav to listen to her music by one of her followers. The singer was nervous because he is “really honest,” she said.
The follower sent him a DM requesting that he listen to her music, and as they say the rest is history. “We literally just started vibing,” she said.
